Fire Dragon
Normally a peaceful fellow, but if disturbed and the crank is turned – the dragon jumps up, lifts his feet, beats his wings and snaps his fiery jaw – then he sits down peacefully as if nothing has happened.
Mechanism: The handle moves a crank slider that gets the dragon jump up. Jaw, forelegs and wings are moved by strings which tighten when the dragon jumps – size of the assembled model: 14 x 6 x 13.5 cm. Designed by Walter Ruffler. Difficulty: Medium.
