Tonight we have a free download of Ron Fuller’s detailed diagram of how the Lion Tamer automata is put together, including details of materials used and sizes. Useful research if you are planning to make your own automata.

Ron Fuller’s Circus was a popular exhibit in the foyer of Cabaret in Covent Garden, featuring not only lion tamers, but a high wire walker, a crazy clown car and a strong lady.

Thank you so much for putting the free download of Ron Fullers Lion Tamer on your site. I have made the Lion Tamer from Ron’s book, Simple Wooden Toys and it sits in pride of place in my study. How about a free download giving detailed diagrams of Ron’s Sheep Shearing Man as your next giveaway? I’ve made a start in constructing it, but would welcome some additional detail.
