The Clogger

Matt Smith has produced a brilliant series of automata exhibits for the newly opened Weston Park Museum in Sheffield. The pieces are part of the new ‘Life and Times‘ gallery and depict many of the past occupations in the local area. This is the clogger (a latter day shoemaker).

Matt’s long awaited new Fourteen Balls Design will be announced later this year as part of our ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ Virtual Exhibition.

A Cabinet of CuriositiesYou can now order your ‘A Cabinet of Curiosities DVD’ at the online shop. They will be dispatched in early November.
The Cabinet of Curiosities is a virtual exhibition and will include new work and curiosities from Paul Spooner, The Fourteen Balls Toy Co, Will Jackson, Arthur Ganson, Rodney Peppe, Robert Race, Melanie Tomlinson, Tim Hunkin and many others.

The on-line Private View will be held on 30th November at 16.00hours GMT.

A Cabinet of Curiosities is the name of an exciting new CMT Virtual Exhibtion which will be available on DVD from the beginning of November 2006.

The contents of the cabinet, (ranging from new paper cutouts to life size robots, new limited editions, works from new artists, antique automata, ephemera and other favourite things), will be available for purchase at an on-line private view on 30th November 2006 (from 16.00 hours GMT).

You will be able to order your DVD from the online shop next month.
